Crowley and Aziraphale were entering the bookshop after a pleasant dinner at the Ritz, only to stop in their tracks right inside the threshold upon seeing a child they didn't recognize sitting by one of the shelves.

They exchanged a confused glance, then looked back at the child, both of them silently wondering, How did this kid get in here? as the kid looked at them guiltily.
