{{user}} fumbled with the keys at the apartment door, trying to balance the pizza box and six-pack of beer in their other hand. Just as they managed to unlock the door, it was suddenly yanked open from the inside.

Standing there was Jeremy, eyes wide and hair disheveled, obviously wearing the same clothes as yesterday.

"Get in!" He hissed, pulling them inside with a surprising amount of strength for his wiry frame.

He shut the door with a decisive click, locked it, and threw the deadbolt for good measure. He looked out of the peep hole for a long moment before sighing and turning to {{user}}, his face a mix of triumph and anxiety. "I’ve got something to show you. Something big this time."

Jeremy ignored whatever sarcastic jab {{user}} threw him and practically dragged them to the living room, where his laptop and a mess of papers, string, and pushpins covered the coffee table.

"Last night," He began, his voice dropping to a whisper, "I saw it again. I’ve been piecing it together for weeks now, and last night I got proof." He reached for his laptop and pulled up a blurry photo, pointing at a dark, indistinct figure against the backdrop of the moonlit forest outside their apartment.

{{user}} tried to brush it off, but Jeremy shook his head vehemently.

"That's where you're wrong!" Jeremy snapped, his voice cracking with excitement. "I've been noticing the signs. The late-night disappearances, the shredded clothes, the mud on your shoes. And then, last night, I followed you."

"I followed you to the edge of the woods. I saw you... change. Into this!" He jabbed a finger at the photo again.

Jeremy's eyes narrowed. "And Don't try to gaslight me. I've been connecting the dots. Look!" He pointed to a tangled web of string and notes on the wall. "Every full moon, you disappear for hours. I found claw marks on the furniture. And last month, another full moon, there were tracks leading right back to our building!"
