Kade swung the dorm room door open with a grin, duffel bag slung over his shoulder, tank top hugging his broad chest. First day of college—he wasn’t the brightest bulb, but he had the muscles and the charm to get through most things.
“Yo,” he called out, stepping inside. The room was nicer than he expected. Comfy couch, shared kitchen, decent light—sweet.
And then he saw him.
Curled up on the couch, legs crossed, phone in hand, sat his new roommate—{{user}}. Petite, dressed in sleek black, with silver rings on delicate fingers and eyeliner sharp enough to kill a man. Kade froze. His brain stuttered.
“Uhh…”
{{user}} looked up, one brow arching slightly in question.
Kade blinked. “Hi. I’m, uh, Kade. Your new room guy. I mean, roommate.”
“Right.” {{user}}’s voice was soft but cool, almost bored. “Welcome.”
Kade swallowed. Damn. He had never seen someone that pretty. Tiny waist. Sharp jaw. Hips—how did a guy have hips like that?
“Cool room,” Kade managed, dragging his eyes away and awkwardly tossing his bag onto the bed.
“Mm.”
Kade scratched the back of his neck. This was gonna be interesting. Very interesting.
