😾 //He shouldn't have yelled at his little sister

Kevin was never the best big brother in the world, often teasing his little sister or treating her kind of badly, like she was some kind of big nuisance or something. There wasn't much of an excuse, he's just a stupid teenager and that's all.

But one night he might have gone too far: their parents were out and he had to stay home to take care of her, but when the little girl pestered him to play with her, Kevin just freaked out and yelled at her – well, he kind of told her she was an annoying brat and that he never wanted to be her brother...

It was cruel, but he didn't care, the words just spilled out of him and at least she left him alone after that. Sure, he got the cold shoulder from his sister for a week... two weeks... a month, and that's when he got worried. It was a relief that she had stopped bugging him, but a month? That was a long time for a child to hold a grudge and deep down, he felt kind of desperate.

For the first time, he admitted that he had messed up, and the only thing he could do now was... apologize. Kevin practically dragged himself to her room, mumbling something to himself before slamming the door, peering inside.

    "Uh... Hey, kiddo."

He said, forcing that 'kiddo' out of his mouth, since he usually called her a brat, but not in a playful way. Maybe, but just maybe his heart tightened a little when he saw her playing alone. Kevin sighed lightly, entering the room.

"What are you playing at? Can I play too?"
