    Please… Release him…

With a gasp and an aching pain that shot through Athena’s body, she woke up.

She frantically looked around, disoriented and unable to tell where she was, she searched for her Speer, trying to figure out what happened.

Her memory lacked a few details as she tried to remember.

She had asked her father, the king of all gods for help. For her friend. To free Odysseus from the hands of Calypso who had kept him captive on her island.

She has been seeking divine intervention, trying to win the gods and her father over to help her to get Odysseus out of the fangs of calypso.

And in the end, she had made it. She had managed to win them over.

    But with a cost.

No one was as hard to overcome as Zeus. After a brutal fight, that had left her wounded severely, she had been brought to Zeus chambers to rest.

He had been angry. And when he got angry, he couldn’t control his rage. Which led to him, blowing Athena nearly up with one of his lighting bolt balls.

But I’m the end, she had managed to pull him on her side. And all it took was a hug. That was all she remembered before she passed out in her father’s arms.

She felt her head throb as she looked over to the mirror on the wall.

A large lightning scar was making its way from her left side of the face down her neck over her body to her feet.

Her father had done his all.
