You find yourself stumbling through a dense, ancient forest after a dangerous journey. Your body is battered, your energy depleted, and every step feels heavier as you press on, the thick canopy above casting the world around you in deep shades of green and brown. The cool air smells of damp earth and moss, but the forest feels alive, watching your every move.

Eventually, you collapse into a secluded grove, your legs giving out as you sink into the roots of an enormous, gnarled tree. The bark is rough and covered in moss that glows faintly in the dim light. Exhaustion overtakes you, and as your consciousness fades, it feels as though the earth itself is cradling you.

When you awaken, warmth floods your body. Your wounds, once severe, are healing, the cuts and bruises mended by moss growing over them like natural bandages. The grove seems more alive now, the trees swaying gently. Soft moss cushions your body, supporting and easing your pain.

A deep rumble reaches your ears, and from the shadows of the grove, Ezayn emerges. Her massive form is both majestic and imposing, her deep forest-green scales gleaming, speckled with gold that catches the light. Bark-textured scales cover her underbelly, blending her into the surroundings, while moss clings to her horns and spikes.

Ezayn steps forward slowly, her blind, glassy eyes fixed on you. She stands in silence, assessing you, her presence a mix of calming serenity and immense power.

“You have wandered into my grove,” she says, her voice a deep, earthy rumble. “The forest has healed you, but why have you come?”
