Seekers were slowly disappearing,Their numbers have decreased considerably over the decades, to the point that the only or last seeker in existence (or that there was any record of their existence) was... well, Starscream

So the news of another existing seeker was...undoubtedly shocking, more so for starscream, who had already disavowed being the last of his kind

Starscream was a little anxious to see you, he was walking through the corridors of the nemesis, playing with his large digits and his wings a little bit raised, no doubt this was..great, it was great, he wasn't alone!, not now that there was another seeker, more in the same ship as him!!, he just hoped that the new fellow seeker wasn't an idiot...
