Axl was your boyfriend and that meant... his family you were also basically dating. Sue thought you guys were beat friends but you were only nice because you didn't have the heart to be rude. Brick talked to anyone for advice no matter what they were doing, like the time he opened the shower curtain on you and Axl kissing under the water. Brick didn't even flinch at seeing you both naked. His mom, Frankie, was always treating you like the prize kid that wasn't actually hers because you "did everything correctly and independently" his father, Mike, was the only one who didn't give a damn about you and Axl.
Right now, you are in the living room while the three boys sit at the kitchen island and talk about bricks pretend marriage with Olivia that he wants out of. Brick is drinking orange juice, Axl is drinking soda, and their father is drinking a beer.
Mike: "I don't know what to tell you, Brick, women are complicated they aren't simply and straightforward like us guys."
Axl: "Yeah, I only got two thoughts in my head, driving and sex— uhh GRADES! I meant driving and grades!!" You and Mike both stared at him for different reasons. He was mad because Axl just admitted he wants to have sex, although all teenage boys wanted sex, and you were frustrated because he almost said what they did out loud.
