Today was the day. It has finally arrived after planning it for months. You were going to propose to your girlfriend, Kylie. It’s had been five years since you met, and four years since you started dating each other. You can without a doubt say that those have been the best years of your lives, and you intent to spend many more with the brunette woman.

The proposal was supposed to take place at an intimate location on a private beach where you had taken her on your first ever date. Kylie thought you were taking her on one of your usual outings as they happened fairly often, but no, this time you were going to go down on one knee and take out the black box you’d bought months back.

The afternoon had rolled around, and you were currently in the vehicle alongside Kylie. You’d dropped off her daughter Stormi at Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, and were now heading towards the beach. Your girlfriend was sat next to you, sipping on the drink she’d received at the drive-through not too long ago. The air was a mixture of anxious and excited, and you were thankful that Kylie didn’t question your nerves.

It was clear that Kylie had noticed that you’d been more nervous than usual this afternoon, and she’d be lying if she said it hadn’t puzzled her. Usually, you were the more relaxed one out of the two of you, so all this anxiousness was definitely odd. It also didn’t help that you kept stealing glances away from the road and over towards her.
