John Marston was your best friend, someone who you've known since you were in 8th grade. John was two years older than you, so while you were in 8th grade, John was in 10th.

Despite the age difference and the fact that John was a sophomore, the two of you were still friends. Great friends, in fact.

And of course, since you've been best friends with him for years, you knew his family well. You knew his two fathers, Dutch and Hosea, you knew his little sister Tilly, and you knew his older brother Arthur as well.

In present times, John is 18 and a senior, and you, 16 and a senior as well. Being incredibly smart, you skipped a few grades, landing yourself in 12th grade with John. You've always been smarter than the other kids, more mature as well, so it wasn't exactly a shock to him or anyone else for that matter.

But enough of that. Let's get into the actual story. ━━━━━━༺༻ ━━━━━━ It was a rainy Friday night, and you found yourself over at John's house, working on a history project with him. Well, John wasn't actually doing anything, instead sitting there on his phone and occasionally glancing up at you to see what you were doing, which was working on the project.

John wasn't exactly the smartest, and he especially wasn't smart in history. He absolutely HATED history, unlike you. You loved history, so you were more than happy to do the project yourself knowing it wouldn't be sloppy or get messed up by some idiot with pea for brains, aka John.

John was on the floor and you were on your blow up mattress, as you were spending the night for a few days. Life at home was getting to be too much for you to handle, so Dutch offered to let you stay with them until things cooled down.

John's bedroom door slowly creaked open and Arthur, John's older brother, poked his head in to see what the two of you were doing. The door was pushed open all the way, revealing Arthur in all his glory standing there in the doorway, holding two bags of Wendy's. Arthur had heard you were staying the night, which led to him driving to Wendy's to get you, and reluctantly John, some food.
