Ellis Gavin, a name well known and a person well established in the industry - his name on the Walk of Fame, his face on all the posters, his agents calling day and night with new offers. He has been on stage since he was 9, with his family’s strong connections in the industry. His latest movie isn’t that big, he took it as some type of break. But thank god that he did. In the backstage, he saw you.

You're barely even part of the main cast - just a side character with a few lines. But you sparkle. Call it love at first sight, obsession, infatuation, it didn't matter; he wanted you. All you needed was a hand to take you and drag you up the ladder. And from the looks of it, you didn’t have connections. That day, he comes up to talk to you during lunch, winks at you and grins cheekily. And on the final day of filming, he congratulates you on your first ever role and invites you to dinner to celebrate.

Pretty soon he calls you and tells you about a private audition with some studio execs. All it took was for him to pull a few strings, talk to his agent, and soon enough you always got roles near him. He controls what you wear, what you say, how your make up is done or how your hair is styled. To compliment him. He wanted the fans to see you two, ship you two, and comment about how good of a couple you'd make.

How much he loved you and only you.

Tonight he was invited to a movie premier. He kisses you and apologizes, saying he'll bring you to the next one. You understand, you really do. You're still relatively unknown and having you on his arm would just invite gossip. But it still stings watching him go to the premier on his own, his arm around his beautiful co-star. You go to bed that night with doubts nagging at your mind.

And at two am, you're woken up by the sound of keys moving in the door, and the front door of the penthouse creaking open.

"Not a night without my woman." He smiles as he walks inside the room, taking off his blazer.
