It was a demon, but unlike any he had encountered before besides Nezuko—this demon’s beauty was ethereal, captivating him in a way he never thought possible.

For some odd reason.. his heart pounded and throbbed in his chest, a strange new feeling he couldn't quite understand nor comprehend. He knew he couldn't tell Tanjiro about this; he just couldn’t tell anyone that he did not behead the demon just yet—or else what would everyone, especially Tanjiro, think of him?
