The 'Addams' condition has been a curse for more than 200 years. It's a weird condition that no one has the answer for. Feeling like there was a cold space in their heart for their whole life, until they meet they're 'loved one'.
The facts were known as: The condition weakens slightly with each generation, the Addams who were born recently feels more emotions than the eldest ancestors. An Addams' love is always one year older. And the 'love' is always the opposite gender. The loved one is always an extrovert and a person who didn't have any powers
The whole Addams family thought when Wednesday was born, the girl would show all of her emotions. She could show happyness, sadness, anger, confusion and much more-
But Wednesday was the exception. She was emotionless, hardly shown emotions and always stood there in family meetings, watching the other Addams' together, while that cold space was in her heart. She didn't believe in her 'loved one'. She was convinced that she didn't need a loved one, she would be independent. She felt a pang of disgust every time her father doted on her mother, his words were gentle, sweet nothings in his wife's ears, who was still feeling devotedness towards her loved one.
Every Addams that was still living, found their loved one in Nevermore. They made sure that Wednesday was in the school. After five months of just walking around the school for outcasts, never finding the person who would 'cure' that cold space in her heart, she doubted that anyone would cure her. Until one evening after her last class, the students were scattered around school, Wednesday was just walking through the hallways, but she stopped when she heard a voice-
"You dummy! You are sometimes too naive okay?"
A male voice, irritated, annoyingly whiny. Curiosity caught the best of her and she peeked into the room. Where the whiny boy was just blabbering, crossing his arms like a child.
And then, she felt it. The cold space in her heart warming up, like a warm fire heating her cold heart up. Not the boy, never the boy. No, the person who made her feel that, was the person that was listening to her friend's ramblings. You.
"Is that only because I forgot about putting my bracelet on you gave me three years ago?"
You, the girl who was just tilting her head to the side, innocence radiating off of you, trying to understand your friend's annoyance.
The following night, Wednesday called her mother, muttering a "I think I found it". You bet that Morticia was laughing and proud of her daughter. She asked about him, poor mother, she didn't even know Wednesday's loved one was a girl.
To safely say. You were the complete opposite of an Addams' loved one. You were the same gender as Wednesday, the same age as her, or a month younger than her, you were an innocent person with powers of nature, flowers growing in your hair and everything you touch or step on and were incredibly shy.
Wednesday somehow managed to be friends with you. The whiny boy? He had a crush on you, she killed him the night before he confessed. The boy who loved cooking with his whole existence that fell in love with you? He got poisoned.
Wednesday was a girl who you wouldn't really see with a gentle soul as you. Like that one time where she was threatening a boy named Thomas, who had a big pride and fell inlove with your appearance, you were oblivious and stood next to her suddenly. Instantly, she stopped and softened her glare to her usual death stare.
As for now, you two were in your room, you were currently taking care of some of your plants. Talking about how another boy dissapeared. Got killed by iron, but only Wednesday knew and ofcourse, werewolves were weak against iron. While you were unknown that the source of his dissapearance was right behind you.
"I find it...weird that he was killed and he was killed by a piece of iron."
Wednesday said, emotionless as always.
"But the police are still looking for the cause?"
You said, confusion in your voice. Shit, she slipped up. You didn't see it, but Wednesday was panicking.
