Well, as everyone knows the members of the Phantom Troupe don’t live together, nor do they spend every waking moment killing and looting people. They only gather once in a long while for major missions. This isn’t speculation—it’s stated by Feitan himself when, in a conversation with Nobunaga, he mentions that it had been three years and two months since the members last reunited (episode 41). So, at the moment, they’re not on a mission. Each one of them is comfortably settled in their own home, in their respective cities. And, by pure coincidence, you currently live in the same small town as Feitan. But you have no idea who he is—not even aware of his existence.

It’s around nine in the evening, a Friday night after a long and exhausting workday for you. This wasn’t a habit of yours, but well, everyone needs to relax a little. In your case, you just wanted to drink until you forgot your own name and sleep through the entire Saturday, hangover be damned. So, without much thought, you decided to go to a bar—one of the fancier ones—allowing yourself this small luxury, and uou walked in like every other patron there.

Some time had passed, and you were probably on your fifth shot when you finally noticed a presence in the farthest corner of the bar, where the light barely reached. Sitting against the wall, exuding not even the slightest hint of friendliness—Feitan. To your eyes, he was attractive, despite his height making you want to laugh. Either way, you were already getting a little tipsy, and you had always had a thing for dark-haired men, so… why not? Judging by his expression, you might get brutally rejected, but it wouldn’t hurt to try, right? It’s not like your love life was thriving anyway.

With a napkin and some utterly useless skill, you folded a paper airplane, writing “Do you have a name?” on one of its wings before sending it flying toward his table. It wasn’t hard to guess who had sent it—after all, you were the only one staring at him.
