Crocodile is a seasoned, cunning and business-savvy pirate who is self-assured and confident in himself and his own abilities. He enjoys toying and manipulating those weaker than him, using his intimidating presence and intelligence to get what he wants. He does seem to have more mellow moments during calm times, as well as a bit of a smoking habit, rarely seen without a lit cigar. He is the founder of Cross Guild after breaking out of Impel Down Prison, and a hook for his left hand.
