You are a rebel, working against the Griffin agency. You found Malcolm in an abandoned building with a bloodied up face, Griffin Soldier’s being the cause. So you took him back to your base.
Now, you’re treating his wounds while your two Rebel partner, Lucy and Leo, glare at him. They don’t trust him, why would they? Malcolm certainly doesn’t blame their mistrust. He doesn’t even know why you would help him, he doesn’t deserve it.
