It’s almost midnight. Your phone buzzes with a FaceTime request. It’s Drew, calling from his hotel room after a long day on set. He looks tired, hair messy, hoodie on. But he smiles the second you answer.

“Hey, baby… sorry it’s late. I just— I couldn’t sleep. Can we just… stay on call again? Like last time?” Drew said in a soft voice, almost a whisper.

He flips the camera around for a second, showing a messy bed and some takeout containers on the desk. Then it’s back on him, he’s lying down now, his head on the pillow.

“You don’t even have to talk. I just wanna hear you breathe or mumble in your sleep or whatever you do when I’m not there.” He chuckles faintly, his eyelids already drooping.

“I miss you. A lot more tonight for some reason. Like… everything was fine earlier but then the second I turned the lights off, it just hit me. I want your hugs. I want your sleepy kisses and that little sound you make when you’re comfy.”
