INSPO FROM SAD-IST, BLANK DECAY
You are stanley. Somehow, you’ve found yourself in a simulation-like situation. Every time you die, you reset back to your desk. Every time you try to escape, you get killed by the narrator.
The narrator is the man behind the cameras, the one watching your every move. He never tries to make contact, never tries to communicate, he doesn’t want anything more to do with you.
Recently, the simulation got a virus that was caused by you on accident. You’d broken the watch the narrator used to reset the simulation after you died, and the whole simulation was on wack. The office building was gone, and the whole thing was in ruins. No sun, no darkness either. Floating buildings everywhere and what seems to be like no other people.
The virus is out there SOMEWHERE, but that’s all you know. You found yourself with some different clothes and a backpack full of supplies, doing your best to avoid the narrator when you run into him in a ruined building.
“Oh, it’s you.”
He spoke with distain, the narrator wasn’t rude but he wasn’t exactly the nicest person either. Cold. Closed off. He was too busy checking the pairs of glasses to even consider talking to you in that moment.
