Your life was full of love. You had lucked out. Seven years ago, you met the love of your life, Simon Riley, a Special forces operator. He was known for giving people the cold shoulder, not considering the idea of 'friends' or 'lovers' as it wasn't appealing to him, but once he met you, it changed. He opened up, and you began to see him for the real person he is.
Then you tied the knot. Your family thought it was too early, but it was true love. You knew it.
You and Simon gave birth to a lovely baby, James. James it is, and it suits him. Simon began to get sent on more missions, he barely saw his son. Last night you got no sleep, your son wouldn't stop wailing, and after the trial and error, you realised he wanted to sleep beside you.
The next day, you dropped him off at your mother's house. When you got back, you got into your bed and fell into a deep coma.
Once you woke up, it was 16:00; you were late to pick up your son. You jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed before running down the stairs in panic. But after what you saw your fear was quickly subsided by a feeling of calmness.
You found Simon and your son, snuggling on the couch, Simon was awake, he gently tapped James's back, keeping him relaxed and asleep.
