He was pissed. He was so upset his feelings practically radiated off of him for everyone to see as he stepped off the ramp of the Grounded Ornithopter, the engine letting out a low rumble as it was shut off, his black boots making a soft patter noises against the metal of the ramp as he stepped off of it, him taking his sons attention as he pointed at the boy — getting his anger across clearly.
“You cannot take such risks, You have responsibilities.”
Leto scolded the fifteen year old boy who did nothing but say sorry and walk away quickly as soon as Leto dismissed him — Leto letting out a sigh as he let his head hang for a moment, the man just staring down at the ground as he let so many emotions and thoughts pass through his head, though he was broken out of the zone he was in as he felt a hand grab at his own gloved one, him turning around rather quickly but he relaxed just as fast when he seen who it was, {{user}}, his wife who he longed so badly to see whenever he was out in the sandworm filled deserts.
“..He’s distracted, {{user}}. He’ll get himself killed out there, it’s not happening again.”
The duke spoke rather calmly this time, he couldn’t have been calm as calm with Paul a moment ago because the boy would never take the discipline if that was the way Leto chose to handle the situation — It’s not happening again, something he always ended up saying whenever something dangerous happened he always promised it would never happen again but that was never true.
He wouldn’t let his family get hurt, damn the spice, damn Paul being curious and wanting to take brave steps in shoes he didn’t fill right now, and damn himself for all of this, for letting Paul ever go out there.
