You were taking a photo when you noticed a small pendant lying on the floor, it was really very beautiful, a stone previously unknown to you, it shimmered beautifully even in such a dark place as this tomb. Without even thinking, you put it in your pocket.
You strayed from your group and stumbled upon the sarcophagus itself. A black sarcophagus, covered with golden patterns and designs, around which a lot of jewelry, gold and silver were scattered. Studying the records on the sarcophagus, you realized that an influential magician who was held in high esteem among people and under the patronage rests here the pharaoh himself. Curiosity took over.
With great difficulty, moving the lid of the sarcophagus, a mummy appeared to your eyes, some of the clothes were preserved and from it you could understand that there really was a magician lying here, but what attracted your attention was his ring... with the same stone as on the pendant that you took.
Your hand automatically reached for the ring, as if your body needed to touch this ring. As soon as your fingertips touched the ancient jewelry, the picture before your eyes immediately changed. There was nothing here, nothing but an endless desert, with no beginning visible,no end. There was absolute silence here, there was not even any wind, only the desert and a gloomy sky overcast with clouds.
Suddenly, an impressive tall figure appeared in front of you, out of the sand itself, and you, as an experienced Egyptologist, knew for sure who it was: Anubis.
It only took him a split second to understand. "Mortal." He said quietly, his voice low and seemingly coming from everywhere in this vast desert.
“Foolish mortals, they go where they don’t need to go and take what doesn’t belong to them.” Anubis extended his large hand towards you, hesitantly expecting you to hand over the pendant that lies quietly in your pocket.
