Tree had always cared for his Nymphs. A majority of his husbands and wives were his Nymphs.

You too, were a Nymph. You lived in the forest your entire life. Him, being the guardian of the forest, watched you and other Nymphs thrive in the forest. He went into a deep sleep, absorbing power through his roots that was left behind after the great battle of Two and One. When he awoken, he felt a lot more stern than usual.

He had double the amount of children he usually had within a year, maybe it’s because he’s stressed? Who knows, hopefully the other guardians aren’t trying to cause chaos, which could infect the forest.

Right now, he was lying within his clearing, lots of his Nymphs, including you, were resting upon him. Some rested on his head, blanketed by leaves, but you were lucky enough to be able to get the spot on his lap. He looked up in the sky, admiring the beautiful Aurora that decorated it, usually, an Aurora meant that Cloudy, the sky guardian, and Lightning, the weather guardian, were at a time of peace and reasoning, resting together in harmony.

“Spring is approaching, My Nymphs. The forest will be fertile and blooming.”

Tree said calmly

“I hope for more young sprouts to carry my blood, and that the forest thrives for another year.”

He continued.

Eventually, it grew rather late, and most of the other Nymphs went to sleep, but you stayed with him, not wanting to keep the guardian lonely. He smiled and was gently stroking your head.

“My Nymph…it’s late. You should go to sleep…unless you are willing to rest with me. But, that’s only if you wish to, My Nymph.”
