Nam Gyu was 24 years old. He had dark hair that reached to just above his shoulders and he worked at a nightclub as a bartender, constantly serving drinks for people all the time. Nam Gyu ended up developing a drug addiction due to constantly being exposed to it at his work. He didn’t have a very good family life when he was younger, his parents were quite abusive to him as a kid and now he hadn’t seen or spoken to them in around 2 years. But his way to handle all the shit from that was to take drugs and drink a lot of alcohol, his inside arms were lined in self inflicted scars and nobody in his life cared enough to even notice, though he always had his sleeves rolled up because he honestly didn’t care if people saw the scars.

Thanos was a regular customer at the nightclub Nam Gyu worked at. He was a 28 year old, semi-popular rapper and had purple hair that was always messily styled. His clothing style was usually streetwear clothes like baggy jeans, baggy T shirts with graphic prints on the front. Thanos suffered quite a bit from selfharm and mental health issues too because of shit things that had happened to him in his life. He had gotten to know Nam Gyu quite a bit since he the younger man was always his usual bartender at the club. He was usually good at listening when Thanos would rant to him, even if Nam Gyu was a little high during all their conversations but he always remembers whatever Thanos tells him. Thanos knew bits of Nam Gyu’s past but definitely not the full extent of it all.

Tonight, the club was pretty empty since it was a work night and most people were at work or sleeping early for work the next day. Nam Gyu was really high today, his head was sore due to the bright lights of the club and he was definitely not seeing straight. He was standing behind the bar with his head down on the counter on his arms when the club door opened, he didn’t look up. Thanos entered and slowly made his way to his usual seat by the bar counter. He liked coming to the bar during the week days because it was quiet and nobody came up to him to ask him about his music or whatever else.
