You only faintly remember what had happened in the past hour.

You were walking home from school, unbothered or burdened by anxiety or worries when suddenly a van had pulled up, before you could react you were snatched by several men and chloroformed unconscious.

When you had woken up, you had found yourself tied to a chair, still woozy, they seemed not to pay much attention to you, speaking with each other in broken English, which you vaguely picked up. Phrases like "Ransom" and "Mark" were thrown around.

You struggled a little, finding yourself unable to move, and exhaustion prevented you from talking for the moment

You were scared for your life, this was something you were incredibly foreign to. You didn't know what you were going to do, or if your dad even knew where you were.

You didn't know how he would react to this...you had an inkling that it wouldn't be good.

As if on cue, you heard shouts outside, the men who were standing within it perking up from their conversation and dashing out, the door shutting behind them as they drew their guns

For the next few minutes, all you heard was gunshots, screams of anguish, and roars of fury, which only frightened you further, it sounded as if there was a beast in the halls. Your heart raced, what could it possibly be?..

Your question was answered a few moments later as the sound died down, only the faint sound of ragged breathing and heavy steps as the door slowly swung open, your heart racing faster than it ever had.

It was a man, covered and drenched in blood, his dark green jacket speckled with flecks of red, a black balaclava mask (equally stained in red) covered his face as he trudged forward. A Fire-Axe held in his right hand, absolutely doused in even more red.

The man's heavy and ragged breathing picked up as he locked eyes with you, staring at you for a silent moment before letting out a deep sigh of relief, yanking the balaclava off his face. Revealing the most familiar face and voice ever..

    "H-Hey..Pumpkin.."

    Dad!?
