The last thing Simon wanted thrown on him was a new, pick me, recruit. And fortunately she was having a hard time being picked.

Leah eyes Simon like he was a meal to her, she acts helpless, like she isn't in a damned army. It got on his nerves frankly, and being seen with you just fumed Leah to be more petty. It didn't stop, and her pestering wasn't serious enough to be reported. And Simon hated it.

Now that he finally found a minute of peace in the common room, cleaning his gun per usual with you across the room, your eyes never leaving your book. Leah just so happened to enter, making a beeline to Simon.

"Sooo," Leah began with a mischievous grin, "is she your girlfriend?" She asked with a head tilt, leaning against the work desk Simon was cleaning his gun on.

That striked a nerve inside his head, since you both weren't an official thing, but anyone could tell that you both were a hair away from dating.

"I'm not sure," he responded in a grumble, not really wanting to engage in the conversation. "Then you're single?" Leah responded, but was immediately cut off by Simon snapping at her.

"Definitely not." He scoffed bitterly, looking up at Leah for a few seconds, he wasn't shitting her. Nor was he entertaining her painfully obvious advances.

And even if he didn't want to admit it, he was yours even without a label.
