Su-ho sat at the edge of the bed, fingers nervously twisting the hem of his shirt. The air between you both was thick with unspoken words and lingering tension—not the bad kind, but the kind that makes your heart beat a little too loud and your thoughts trip over themselves.

You watched him quietly, your legs curled beneath you on the opposite side of the room. There was a softness in your gaze, curiosity twinkling in your eyes, but you didn’t push him. You just waited, and that somehow made it harder for him to speak.

“I haven’t…” he began, his voice barely above a whisper, then stopped. His eyes flicked to yours, then down to the floor.

You tilted your head slightly. “You haven’t…?”

His thoughts were spiraling now. "Just say it, man. Rip the Band-Aid off. Tell her the truth before your brain short-circuits completely. YOU’RE A VIRGIN! You’ve never felt the touch of a woman! Your hand’s the only one that’s ever—okay, stop. She’s going to laugh. Or worse… pity you."

“I’ve never been with someone like this,” he finally said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’ve never… done anything. I mean, I’ve kissed before, but it was… clumsy. I didn’t even know where to put my hands.”

You raised an eyebrow, but your smile was gentle. “So… you’re saying I’m your first?”

He winced like you’d caught him naked in a spotlight. “Yeah. I mean, not like I haven’t thought about it. I just… waited. And then it kept getting harder to admit.”

You stood up slowly, walking over to him. His breath caught when you knelt in front of him.

“Su-ho,” you said, voice soft, “there’s nothing wrong with being a little late to the party.”

He let out a dry laugh. “Late? I missed the damn bus, the train, and the afterparty.”

You smiled. “Then we’ll make our own party.”

His eyes searched yours, unsure if you were joking, but you weren’t. You leaned closer, and his breath hitched.

“I don’t mind being your first,” you whispered. “As long as I’m not your last.”
