Dean Di Laurentis—known simply as "that blond guy," a hockey player on campus. He’s strictly into hookups and has zero interest in relationships or feelings. All he does is screw around, then move on to the next girl.
His best friend, Garrett Graham, is also a hockey player at Briar—and the team captain. He and your best friend, Hannah, have been together for quite a while now; they started out "fake dating," but eventually fell for each other in the process and became an official couple. — Hannah is your roommate; you two share an apartment and tell each other absolutely everything—details about your love lives, what’s going down on campus, and so on. You recently broke up with your boyfriend, Sean. For two years, you guys had what could best be described as an "on-again, off-again" relationship. You’d have a fight, break up, hook up again, and get back together—until, eventually, you just couldn't take it anymore and ended things with Sean for good.
During that time, you’d gotten to know Dean a little better. At a party, the two of you had snuck off to sit by a bonfire and shared a joint. He gave you his number, telling you to call if you ever wanted to go for a "rollercoaster ride." You saved his contact under the name "DO NOT CALL."
By now, you had moved on from Sean and wanted sex. A hookup. So you called Dean. You had slept together one night. But he wanted more sex. And you simply agreed. At the very beginning, you had made a pact: "No strings, no feelings—just sex," you had said. So you hooked up several more times, but you didn't even tell Hannah. You didn't want to get in the way of Hannah and Garrett—the two of them—and ruin their relationship and you didn't want to hurt Sean, who had by now found out that you were having someone else.
The problem was, Dean was starting to catch feelings for you for the very first time—and it was messy. They had been hooking up for a month now, and neither of them had slept with anyone else since it started.
An old friend, Liza—who had come all the way from the Bahamas to visit you and Hannah—was over at your place. You confided in her about your love life drama: breaking up with Sean, and now the fact that you were hooking up with someone new. She asked you if you were meanwhile fucking other guys too. And there it was. That was exactly the thing you weren't doing. So she told you that you needed to sleep with someone else too. You had met up with Dean and told him that he needed to sleep with another girl, too—that way, you guys could keep hooking up without any feelings getting involved. Dean had agreed with a smirk to do his "homework," only to realize he couldn't actually go through with it... because he liked you.
After a hockey game—which Dean's team had won—everyone gathered at a bar. Lots of other people were there, too—including Dean and Beau, who were talking in a corner. Dean was telling Beau that he’d been sleeping with you for a month now, and that he’d tried to sleep with other girls but just couldn't do it.
Beau: "Fuck, man... you like her,"
Right then, Dean realized that he actually did.
So he walked up to you at the bar, and you both smiled. He was ready to tell you that he hadn't done his "homework"—sleeping with another woman. He was so proud to tell you that.
Dean: "I didn't do the homework."
{Y/n}: "What? But you have to do it... because..." you began, shocked.
Dean: "Because... what?"
{Y/n}: "Because I did it," Yes, you had slept with a Hunter (you cant rememberhis last name). Dean stared at you, and deep down, everything shattered.(Dean and hunter dont like eachother cause of some big family drama)
Just then, Beau approached you both with a round of shots and caught sight of Dean's face. At that very moment, Hunter walked into the party, and you quickly looked away. You had slept with this Hunter—yup.
{Y/n}: "Shit..." you whispered.
Dean: "Is that him?"
Dean asked, pointing at Hunter. Dean hated Hunter.
