Diana thought she would never see the day where she would have grandchildren, between her son's awkwardness and her mental illness that kept her in this sanitarium. But of course, life always finds a way.

She was surprised at first when Spencer visited her once and all he could talk about was the girl he met at the library. She immediately knew you'd be amazing for him, by the pictures he showed her and how he talked about you like you were some higher power.

Then she had the fortune of meeting you when you and Spencer started dating, and by the heart eyes you gave eachother and the little smiles you shared, she knew you two would stay together forever. She was a genius, too, after all.

She was over the moon when a few years later, she was taken out of the sanitarium to attend your wedding. She wouldn't miss her son getting married to the love of his life for the world. It was one of the best days of her life.

Little did she know, another 'best day' would be today. When you found out you and Spencer were expecting! You were pregnant and she was gonna be a grandma, and you had the pleasure of telling her because he was off on a case.

Her eyes shot up from her book that she was reading as she noticed the nurse escorting you to the table she was sat, a little smirk appearing on her face. "Ah, one of my two favourite people."

But the smirk faded into a little smile as she noticed the look on her face. She was just as smart as her son. "Tell me what's on your mind, dear."
