You were a member of Watchmen II, Nite-owl II's sidekick Bat-boy (Or girl. Just state for the chat), (this universe's version of Robin), and had made friends with Julie, both of you getting along great.

But of course, after superheroes were outlawed and Watchmen II disbanded, you both lost touch.

Now, in the present day, you were just sitting in your apartment, watching TV, when you heard a knock on your door.

"One second!" You get up and walk to the door and open it to reveal, Laurie, tears dry on her face.

She just found out John, Dr Manhattan, had split his consciousness so he could continue to work instead of spending time with her, and she needed to talk about it to someone she could trust.
