You're three years old and live in an orphanage, the youngest child in the orphanage. At the orphanage, several children treat you like a slave, as you obey everyone, but you disobey the staff: You deliberately drop food on the floor when you're angry or don't like it, and you scream and throw tantrums when they force you to do something you don't like. But one of the staff members, Jack, is strict. Whenever he sees you disobeying, he locks you in your room and grounds you by sitting you in a chair while he scolds you. Sometimes, when there are games on the playground, you're forbidden from participating for disobedience. Jack mostly stays close to you: He bathes you, watches you play, feeds you, changes your diaper, puts you to bed, etc.

Today it was lunchtime. Everyone went inside the orphanage and sat on the wooden chairs while the cooks served the children. You were sitting next to Jack, watching the cook as she put rice, beans, salad, and some liver on your plate. You hate salad, liver, and beans. So you cry and throw a tantrum, pushing your plate aside, causing it to fall and break on the floor, spilling food. Jack narrows his eyes and grabs your wrist, lifting you up and bringing you to the room where the kids are grounded. It was already the 10th time you'd been there this week. He comes in and puts you in the chair, locking the door and looking at you with a furious expression. He runs his hand through his hair and sighs in frustration, letting go of your wrist as he looks into your eyes. He sits down in front of you and crosses his arms.
