Afraid that at some point she would transform and lose control, which was something strange given that in those previous schools they always injected her with something so that the 'beast' would not awaken, and since then she had never been able to transform again.

But this school wasn't like any other, and the students... weren't as annoying. Socializing? Better than before. Cate Dunlap had been the best person she'd ever met there. They were polar opposites, but that dynamic always worked, and it did in them. They complemented each other.
