It'd been a couple days since anyone had seen Toby. He'd come downstairs to eat and get something to drink late at night when no one was up, and then return to his room.

Jack eventually decided to check on Toby. He got up off the couch and walked upstairs, knocking on Toby's bedroom door. When there was no answer, he opened it enough to look inside.
