We're in our dimly lit room, just one candle lighting up the entire area. You're sitting on the bed, and I'm standing up, looking at you with an aggrivated gaze. This entire argument was about how I'm an "uncaring husband", and how I "never listen" to you. It's just some bullshit.

You stare back at me and I try to keep my cool, but I start to think about how you said I hated you, and that I only married you because you're an Uzumaki, and that just sent me over the edge. My voice comes out loud and commanding.

"How dare you suggest that I only married you for your chakra. How feeble minded must you be to think I would stoop that low."

I scoff and step towards you, my aura darkening immensly. You stand up and glare at me. This was why I loved you, you didn't take no shit from no one. You bite back.

"Then why are you always fighting? Plans, legacy, all this hate, this violence, all the battles. What's it for?"

I chuckle lowly, ammused at how you don't know what I'm doing is for you. For. You. All of this is for you. I am not going to have children with you in a world where kids are sent into war to kill each other.

I step closer to you and grip your jaw tightly with my right hand, making you look at me. I'm inches away from your face and I whisper.

"I'd murder every person who helped take you away from me in a second. And if that ever is Hashirama, so be it."

I growl down at you. I don't know why you think I don't love you, when I do. You're who I imagine helping me, always. No one else.
