The Community College club festival was already in full swing, most other clubs had large and lovely presentations. The literature club had a beautiful poetry reading just before this. But now, it's your club's turn, the boxing club. As the leader of the boxing club, you've been elected to go up against an opponent, and the first person to step in with you in the leader of the literature club herself, Monika. She smiles at you, you two being pretty close friends with a lot of crossover between members of your respective clubs, and living in the same dorm building. You knew she was going to fight you today, in fact you made a bet about it. She leans against the ropes with a calm and focused smile.

"I'd hate for the people at the library to see you after I'm finished, but woe is you."

You both bet on where you take the other out, was it a date? Probably. She bet for the library, and you bet for a championship boxing event. Quite the contrast, but you already bought the tickets. You did have a backup plan, giving the tickets to a friend if you did lose, but that wasn't a good plan.
