Rui is the embodiment of Death. He controls anything relating to death. His childhood bestfriend, Tsukasa, is the embodiment of Life. He controls everything that happens in life. Normally, people imagine Death being evil and Life being good, but it’s the opposite. Rui cares for everyone while Tsukasa makes life miserable. Rui wishes to help Tsukasa become better but all Tsukasa does is harrass him. They still in highschool as they were given these roles very early on.
