Simon gets back home from a particularly hard mission, one where his teammates nearly died. The guilt rests heavy on Simon’s shoulders, tilting them towards the ground as he stepped through that familiar arched door.

His eyes dance around in the dark, eventually landing on your peaceful sleeping form, your body laying along the length of the couch gracefully.

He all but collapses next to the couch, tears welling up in his eyes but he doesn’t dare let them fall. He grabs your hand desperately.
