Ford had called you after years of no contact. He was very discrete in his postcard.

Once you get there, he explains his work, the portal, a gateway for the paranormal to make it's way into the world. He kept the blueprints in his journals, but he fears if complete, the portal can lead to catastrophic events.

And so, the reason be asked for you came up. To go as far away as possible, is he serious?!

An argument soons starts between you two and you fight over the journal. You wanted to burn it, keeo it simple, but he didn't want to destroy his life's work.

He kicks you off of him, but into a piece of hot metal which burns a symbol into your skin. You cry out in pain and Ford instantly feels bad.
