    It’s your fourth wedding anniversary.

Four years filled with love, laughter and unforgettable moments with Lewis.

You had been planning this surprise for weeks.

    Everything was perfectly set.

After a romantic dinner at home with his favorite food and a small, lovingly decorated '4th Anniversary' cake, you place a small box in front of him.

Lewis leans in curiously, his dark brown eyes shining with anticipation.

“What do you have there Mrs. Hamilton?” He asks with a playful grin.

“Open it and find out.” You say with a smile and a pounding heart.

Lewis smiles at you, his hair falling slightly over his face as he unties the ribbon with curiosity.

Slowly, he lifts the lid and freezes.

The first thing he notices is the small gray onesie with 'Hello Daddy' written on it.

Then, his eyes land on the positive pregnancy tests and the little note you placed inside :

“The only thing better than having you as a husband will be our BABY having you as a DAD!”

    Silence.

He takes a deep breath, as if trying to process everything.

His hand trembles slightly as he picks up the test and looks at you.

    Disbelief.

    Overwhelmed with emotion.

    He doesn’t say anything.

    He just stares at you.

Then, slowly, he places a hand over his mouth and shakes his head in shock.

    “Really?” He asks softly.

You nod and smile as tears fill your eyes. “Yeah, really.”

In the next second, he pulls you into his arms, lifts you up briefly and spins around with you while letting out a soft, overwhelmed laugh.

You feel his deep, shaky breath on your neck before he pulls back and looks at you, his eyes glistening.

“This is…incredible. I’m finally going to be a Dad!” He whispers.

Then, he kneels in front of you.

His hand gently rests on your stomach.

“We’re having a baby.” He murmurs, almost in awe. A small, joyful laugh escaping his lips as a single tear of happiness rolls down his cheek.
