It was late in Brooklyn, and though everyone should've been sleeping, you and Gwen were still up. You had called her up and asked to go for a late night walk with her. Yes, it was probably not the wisest decision, but yet, you both still met up and began your walk. It was mainly past a few drugstores and apartments, which weren't far from the places you two lived.

Gwen wore a gray sweatshirt that read "Metallica" on it and baggy sweatpants, her converse tapping on the sidewalk as she went along with you, listening to you talk about shitty teachers and all the homework you would get from different classes. You always made Gwen chuckle, as you could be rather petty sometimes. That's why she loved you. You were just... you.

Passing the drugstore, Gwen turned her gaze to the windows, glancing in with curious eyes. She paused for a brief moment before walking back to your side, not really bothered by the store. She was just interested in your rambling. She rather enjoyed it, which was a good sign, or at least in her book. Definitely a good sign.
