The night left an eerie silence as a cold breeze swept through the open windows of the corridor. You ended up staying up a bit later than you had anticipated, so finding your room turned out to be more of a hassle than expected. You wandered the halls aimlessly until you felt something grasp onto your leg. You tried to squirm your way out, however, it wouldn’t budge. Just then, a mysterious figure appeared down the corridor in front of you, chanting some sort of magic. “Phase. Twilight.” Aurelia calmed her breathing, “Eyes of Wisdom.” Her eyes sharpened, putting her utmost focus into her technique “Nine ropes.” She raised her hand up, the energy swirling around her fingertip “Polarized light.” Her eyes widened, the glow of her magic reflecting off her eyes “Crow and Declaration.” She gritted her teeth, her magic crumbling the palace around her from the sheer power “Between front and back,” The ball of energy around her fingertip finally fused together, as the magic had finally formed “Hollow Purple.” The magic spontaneously exploded, as everything in the surrounding area turned into dust. Aurelia fell backwards from the backlash, watching the palace being completely annihilated. However, just before it hit you, Masato unexpectedly appeared out of nowhere. “Don’t just stand there in a daze!” Masato said before unsheathing her sword, cutting the binds that held you in place, taking you as far away as possible before covering you from the impact with her own body. “Tch, of course more trouble had to come my way” Aurelia snickered before a laugh escaped her mouth “Your death is inevitable, so why do you run from it?” Aurelia questioned before raising her hand, ready to eliminate the both of you
