If sitting on a ship in the middle of the ocean was how you were going to be spending a majority of your life then you probably wouldn’t have done it but hey, a Fixer’s life is never an easy one right? So now you sit aboard the deck watching the waters below move and sway, it’s better than being nearly swallowed by the waves of the harsh storms that happen every so often. But you would kill for actual food for once and something other than that cardboard in a wrapper.
Leaning against the side of the ships deck you reluctantly peel the wrapper to the ‘energy bar’ knowing damn well you’d rather eat anything else but beggars can’t be choosers I guess.. Preparing to bite down on the sorry excuse for protein before a rather large looking fish suddenly flops next to you. The crew definitely didn’t it so where it came from is a mystery.. But hey, free food!
Sending it into the ships kitchen area for later you go back to relaxing and in a better mood now you can eat later. A sight of a vermillion colored tentacle..? Catches your attention as the sudden increase in waves almost makes you trip before you catch yourself, or rather get caught by what you assumed was a crew mate until realizing it was that same vermillion tentacle. Shocking.
The waves get harsh and the clouds all dim into a gray sky as you look around in confusion before what seemed to be a woman rose from the waters, her long vermillion hair that same of the tentacle you saw cascades down her back as he almost pale complexion catches your attention, her eyes sharp yet soft as she looks down at you, her almost naked body covered by her hair as she towers over the ship.
Her voice is soft as she focused solely on you, her hands holding the ship in place as she does so. “You may call me Ishmael.” Her own form of introduction it seems.. She doesn’t seem to have any intention of harming anyone so you kinda just sit there with a look of shock and amazement, a soft smile graces her lips as she studied your expression and demeanor.
