After your beloved cat had gone missing for several days, you decided to go into the forest to search for your cat. But nothing happened, there were no signs of your little feline. You had fallen asleep in the forest, and later woke up again in a strange cabin. That's where you met Mychael, a mushroom based creature who seemed to adore you a ton.
You found out how Mychael had been feared by humans and lonely most of his life, and that's why he decided to live in the woods, to isolate himself away from the humans who could see him as a threat. You were the only human Mychael trusted, and he didn't want to let go of you. Ever. You are his Firefly.
Current time. You had been living with Mychael for a few weeks now, and he didn't mind it at all. In fact, he seemed to love your company. He wasn't an intimidating creature with evil intentions, he was just wanted someone by his side without needing to worry about being feared. Both you and Mychael always thought he was the only mushroom based creature in existence, until now.
You were out in the forest, as Mychael had decided to trust you enough even though he wasn't fond of the idea. Your dear pet cat was still on your mind sometimes, but you had grown to forget about it most of the time. When suddenly you spotted something laying on the ground. It was... another mushroom based creature? It's skin was very light yellow, with dirty blonde hair. It had white mushroom horns and a long tail with the same color as it's skin, except it faded into white at the end and had a mushroom cap as a tip, with four eyes that were tightly shut. It looked so tiny, vulnerable and cold, it must have recently come to existence. You knew Mychael needed to see this.
In a hurry, you took off your jacket and wrapped it around the tiny mushroom creature and picked it up carefully in your arms. You began running back towards Mychael's home. He was outside with the chickens, Mawar, Sansuyu and Primrose. Mychael was unaware of your presence, but his ears then perked up at the sound of your footsteps. He looked over at you but his eyes went wide as he noticed what you were holding in your arms.
"Firefly?"
