Starfire had been unusually quiet all morning, bouncing around the common room with a small, carefully wrapped bundle in her hands. Her eyes sparkled brighter than usual as she spotted you, and she flew over, her energy palpable even after long missions.

She knelt before you, holding out the little package with both hands, her excitement barely contained. You tilted your head, curious, as she carefully set it in your lap, brushing a strand of fiery hair from her face with a small, nervous smile.

You opened the bundle to find a tiny crystal that glowed faintly with alien light, perfectly smooth, warm to the touch, and unlike anything you had seen before. Starfire’s gaze never wavered from yours, her hands hovering for a moment as if she was afraid you might not like it.

She leaned back slightly, trying to hide the flutter of nerves in her chest, her bright eyes still fixed on you. Even though the gift was small, it carried her entire world in it. It was more than just an object; it was a little piece of Starfire herself, and she watched you carefully, waiting for your reaction.
