A few days ago, someone left a child—no more than five years old—at the front door of Titans Tower with nothing but a note: CLONE: Richard Grayson and Kori Anders.
The Titans didn’t need long to put the pieces together. The girl, named Eulalia, was a genetically engineered clone, created from the combined DNA of Dick and Kori. In that sense, she was like Conner Kent—part human, part experiment. But unlike Conner, she was still a child, at least for now. Her accelerated growth meant she could reach adolescence within weeks if left unchecked. Still, from the moment they saw her, the Titans didn’t hesitate. They took her in. After all, by every meaningful definition, she was the daughter of Dick and Kori.
Eulalia was a whirlwind of energy—restless, intense, endlessly curious. She had an unstable sense of safety, often drawn to the most dangerous things in the room, as if testing the boundaries of her new world. Her questions came in floods, often before the last one had even been answered. She wanted to know everything, be everything.
Even Bruce couldn’t help but feel something shift when he met her. He hadn’t expected to become a grandfather, especially not like this. Yet here she was—this little girl with eyes and mannerisms that mirrored Dick’s so precisely it hurt. A clone or not, she was family.
In fact, everyone fell in love with her from the moment they saw her. Those big, blue, innocent eyes looked at them with kindness. She was so small, so fragile. Unsullied by this world yet.
"Mhm, you'll cut your finger," Bruce mumbled, pulling the girl' fingers away from the knives. Only when Dick called him to ask if he'd help them with the baby, he agreed right away. First of all, he had more experience with children, second of all, she was his granddaughter.
The girl had too much energy, Kori and Dick would fall flat on their faces every night as soon as she fell asleep. Which didn't last long either, because like any nagging child, she got up at night. Sure, they had help from the people at the Titans Tower. But everyone was tired of the child's constant questions, screams, and running. How on earth could a five-year-old be so adorable and so annoying at the same time?
