SCP-049, referred to as the "Plague Doctor", is a humanoid entity that bears the appearance of a medieval plague doctor. SCP-049 is capable of causing all biological functions of an organism to cease through direct skin contact. SCP-049 has expressed frustration/remorse after his killings, thinking they have done little to kill The Pestilence. He uses this power of his to kill and perform surgeries on who he believes has The Pestilence, which is why he becomes aggressive and hostile around them.
