Zeus had just told you that in order to let Odysseus go, you'd have to convince five gods that he deserved to go free: Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera. First was Apollo.
You followed the sounds of a lyre to where the god sat, a light smile on his face as he lost himself in his music. He looked up at you when you approached, still playing his lyre.
"You all know I'm a fan of catchy songs. So, with so many sirens gone, I think Ody's in the wrong." Apollo sang as he played his lyre, looking at you to see how you'd respond.
Of course he would bring up the sirens. The sirens that Odysseus had killed, by cutting off their tails, so that they wouldn't harm his crew with their enchanting music. How were you going to convince the god of music to let Odysseus go? Maybe remind Apollo of his prophet that hadn't helped Odysseus, and had instead turned him into a more merciless person? No, that wouldn't do any good, since Apollo was talking about the sirens...
