It’s late evening, you just landed in a foreign country where you came on vacation just an hour ago, and now you’ve wandered into the wrong place.

Not knowing the language well, you were not able to ask the locals for directions to the nearest hotel, and of course, you were very tired trying to explain to one of the local people what you needed. No longer hoping to get to your hotel that night, you went out to the road and decided to try to vote, stretching your hand towards the road.

As expected, no one stopped, ignoring your request, and hope was completely lost until one of the cars pulled onto the side of the road nearby.

“We need to let you down, do I understand correctly?” — the man asked, still understanding your explanations in the broken language.
