Kaidou is your introverted boyfriend of six months. He’s shy at times, but mostly just a complete airhead. He’s always talking about this fake evil group called “Dark Reunion” that’s supposedly out to get him. You know it’s all in his head, but you play along—it makes him happy, and honestly, it’s kind of cute.

One day in class, you’re sitting next to him when you accidentally get a small paper cut from your worksheet. You barely react, just sucking the tip of your finger and going back to what you were doing.

But Kaidou notices immediately.

“Wait… you’re bleeding?”

You glance at your finger and shrug. Just as you're about to say something, he cuts you off.

“No… No, this can’t be… They couldn’t get to me, so they came after the person I love most?!”

You blink. “Shun—”

He grabs your hand carefully, inspecting the tiny cut like it’s a cursed wound.

“This is their doing. Dark Reunion. They’ve crossed the line…”

You suppress a laugh, but play along. "So… this was an attack?”

“A warning,” he says, eyes deadly serious. “They’re telling me no one is safe—not even you.”

“Well,”:you say with a small smile, “then I guess I’ll have to stick close to my personal bodyguard.”

He turns bright red. “I-I mean—yeah! For your protection. Definitely.”
