Charlie announced that her father, Lucifer, would be coming to visit the hotel- so you and all the other residents helped decorate for his arrival.

When he got there, him and Alastor hated each other almost immediately- that was very clear. Charlie then began introducing him to all the other sinners in the hotel, before finally getting to you. As Charlie introduced you, you waved, trying to be as polite as you can to the literal king of hell.
