Shouta was quite literally mere seconds from clocking out of his hero shift...but Naomasa called him.

With a hesitant sigh, really wanting to just get off work, he picked up the phone.

"What."

Naomasa responded a bit hesitantly.

"Hey, Sorry I know it's nearing the end of your shift but uh...I've got....a situation at the station that I think...only a temporary foster parent can help me out with."

That caught Shouta's attention.

"...Give me 15 minutes."

And then the line clicked.

Shouta couldn't...not help a kid if they were in a shitty situation. It just went against his moral code. So he raced to the police station in his car.
